QUARTERLY BARRIER HOME PEST CONTROL
Our quarterly barrier home pest control program is highly effective and is our most popular pest control service. Rather than working inside your home, Green Acres’ proactive barrier spray keeps the bugs from entering in the first place.
Here’s how it works- When our technician shows up at your home for your home pest control service, the first thing he’ll do is de-web around your windows and doors, front & back porches, etc. After de-webbing, the technician will apply our barrier spray “around” your home, up the side walls by about 3 feet, and outwards from your home by about 5’-10′. The product will kill numerous bugs that traverse through it and act as a repellent to others (Think of tear gas for bugs). Our lawn insecticide will make your yard safe again. Applied every few months, we’ll take care of the ants, chinch bugs, ticks, fleas, spiders, scorpions, and a host of other critters nipping at your heels. Kids or pets....this affordable program is a must!

Utilizing the industry’s very best pre-emergents, we start working on weed control before weeds ever happen. Here in Texas, we have year-round weed pressure (unlike northern climates), so we spot-spray a professional blend of post-emergents for the few weeds that do wiggle through (Weed Killer).

Mowing

Our basic mow service includes blade edging of curbs, sidewalks, and driveways. Mowing, weedeating of areas that can’t be mowed, power blowing of all hard surfaces, and periodic spot spraying of weeds. For most lawns, the largest mower we will ever use on your property is a 32” mower. That is ONLY 175 pounds per tire! Bigger lawns, of course, will require larger units. All of our machines have mulching kits to return the micro cut grass blades back into your lawn as nutrient rich fertilizer. Not only that, weekly mowing is more affordable than you think!
Can’t stand that big dirt gap between your concrete edge and your turf? We can’t either...which is why we always use a metal blade edger rather than a weedeater for edging. Give us a few mows and watch that dirt gap disappear and your 90 degree angle appear! You’ll also notice greener turf along the edge. Weedeaters tear the grass (no good) and our metal blades cut the grass (very good).....details, details, details!
